StillSum
Terms of Use
These terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple’s applicable terms, those controlling provisions apply.
1. Purpose
StillSum is a manual bookkeeping, budgeting, receipt-reading, and local reporting utility. It is not a bank, payment service, accountant, investment adviser, tax adviser, or legal adviser. It does not move money or make decisions for you.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing transaction amounts, OCR output, imported CSV content, categories, reminders, budgets, and calculations. Important financial, tax, investment, or legal decisions should be checked with a qualified professional.
3. Backups and device security
StillSum maintains local recovery backups and offers optional iCloud sync, but no storage system is infallible. You are responsible for securing your device and Apple Account and for exporting important records when appropriate.
4. Free and Pro access
The free version includes the core ledger. Pro may include advanced local reports, additional themes, CSV import and export, expanded quick templates and rules, and additional widgets. Features may be improved or adjusted while preserving the value of an active purchase.
5. Subscriptions and lifetime purchase
Monthly and annual Pro plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged through your Apple Account and the subscription renews unless cancelled in Apple ID subscription settings. The lifetime plan is a one-time non-consumable purchase. The product, duration, price, currency, tax, renewal information, and any eligibility terms shown by the App Store before confirmation control. Apple handles billing, cancellation, purchase restoration, and refunds under its policies.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, interfere with its security, attempt to distribute modified copies, or use it in violation of law or another person’s rights. You retain responsibility for content you enter, scan, import, or export.
7. Intellectual property
The StillSum app, original interface, code, and original visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Apple, iCloud, iPhone, Face ID, Touch ID, StoreKit, and Vision are trademarks or technologies of Apple Inc.; their use does not imply sponsorship. User-created ledger content remains the user’s content.
8. Availability and updates
We may provide fixes, security improvements, and feature updates. Device, operating-system, App Store, and iCloud changes may affect availability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StillSum is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for decisions made from app output or for losses caused by inaccurate user input, unreviewed OCR or imports, device failure, loss of account access, or destinations chosen for exported data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable consumer law does not allow to be excluded.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Questions can be sent to stillsum@proton.me.
